CLAIRE SUTHERLAND
Welcome to Claire Sutherland our new practice manager. She has come to us from a background of human resources management, previously working with Kraft Foods and Gloucestershire Constabulary. She has already become a vital part of the organisation and running of the team at Willesley Equine Clinic.
EQUINE FIRST AID
Over the past eighteen months Sally Watts has run several extremely successful equine first aid day courses for clients and their friends. This year we are running both basic and advanced first aid courses on 29th February 2008 and the 14th March 2008 respectively. Please click here to find out more about the courses and how to enroll. Due to the great popularity of them in recent years early booking is advised.
FIRST AID KITS FOR CHRISTMAS
For the month of December buy a Willesley Equine Clinic first aid kit and recieve 10% off the rrp.
BOOKING VISITS
We would like to remind you that all the vets' diaries are run centrally so please phone the clinic to book your visits and not the vets' mobiles. Their mobile phones should only be used for advice and not the booking of emergency or routine calls.
To speed up booking of appointments, please note that the number for booking visits is 01666 880501 and for appointments in the Clinic, 01666 880566. If your horse is an in-patient, please ring 01666 880566.
IMPORTANT NEWS Re E & L INSURANCE CLAIMS
Due to an increase in delays in payment from E & L insurance Company we would like to inform clients we are no longer prepared to wait for their payment. We require payment from yourselves according to our normal payment terms (strictly within 30 days from the date of your invoice).
We will continue to complete your claim form and meet al the requirements that the insurance company need to process your claim to reimburse yourselves.
However, we would like to remind you that the contract with any insurance company is between yourself and them and they are contracted to reimburse you for your loss, i.e. vets fees, after you have paid us.
VACCINATION REMINDERS
Remembering when your horse’s vaccination is due IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY, not ours! Historically, we have issued vaccination reminders in the post to jog your memory, and we will continue to provide this service but, with ever increasing problems such as the postal service, these reminders should not be relied on. If your horse’s vaccination goes over its due date, the course will have to be started again and you will incur unnecessary costs. It also helps the veterinary surgeon if your horse’s passport is available for signature at the time of vaccination.
