The Willesley Equine Clinic is a fully equipped centre for the diagnosis and treatment of both medical and surgical conditions, injuries and disease. The referral centre lies at the heart of the clinic, providing specialist and emergency treatment for horses from all over the Southwest of England, South Wales and beyond.
The orthopaedic department is headed by Dr Svend Kold MRCVS, an RCVS specialist in orthopaedics and a pioneer in new treatments for degenerative joint disease. Much of the surgery, both orthopaedic and soft tissue, is carried out by Oliver Crowe MRCVS who has made minimally-invasive surgery his forte. The medical department is headed by one of only a handful of ACVIM diploma holders working in the UK, Richard Hepburn MRCVS, who also oversees the clinic’s referral laboratory.
